The Historical Agriculture Library is an independent public-domain ebook catalogue devoted to the history of agriculture, rural life, gardening, and the natural world. Our aim is to bring together significant out-of-copyright texts that illuminate how people have cultivated land, raised animals, and shaped rural communities across centuries. Organisation and Categories

Our catalogue is organised into four broad categories, each reflecting a distinct thematic area:

Metadata Review

Each edition undergoes a careful review of its bibliographic metadata. File Presentation

Ebooks are offered in standard formats, primarily EPUB and PDF, derived from high-quality source scans or digital transcriptions. Minor corrections to obvious typographical errors are made silently; substantive editorial interventions are documented in the reading notes.
